Taekwondo

I practice Songahm Taekwondo since 2004. I am currently a 1st Degree Black Belt. Taekwondo helps you to become a better person by developing your physical and mentally skills. Some values we follow are respect, perseverance, self-control, humility, loyalty and courtesy.

During my years as a martial artist there are three events that were very important to. The first was my first Taekwondo exam. The second was my black belt exam. The third, was the possibility to represent Portugal on the 2012 World Championships at Little Rock, Arkansas. I was on 2nd place on combate and 4th place on traditional forms.

Music

I play guitar since 2005 and was self taught for five years when I decided to take classes to become a better musician. When I started playing, I was heavy influenced by Metallica, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers, mostly Metal and Rock bands.

During the years I discovered new bands, guitarists and started to listen to differentes genres beside Rock and Metal such as Jazz, Blues, Folk and Fado. Nowadays I like to jam on a little bit of every type of music and to make my own arrangements of movie songs.

You can also find some you my recordings. The quality is far from great because I still don't have a decent recording system.
